one issue with seidio cradle

I am unable to text while docked. It's almost as if it thinks I have tgw keyboard slid out. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Any help?

I just tried it in my Seidio Cradle and to be clear, in landscape mode the onscreen keypad pops up when prompted like it is supposed to giving me the ability to type while docked
