bpad -- Flash is a browser plug-in rather than an app in the traditional sense.

Suggestion for everyone; get into the browser settings and scroll down to plug-ins. Now set that to on-demand. You'll get less lag and only see flash you want to see. No more banking, baldness cure, free iPad, or Viagra ads cluttering up your screen unless you like that sort of thing.

Thanks for the link. I just downloaded and installed it. Tried to play a video on CNN and it would stop every 5 or 10 seconds to catch up and it was very jerky when it did play. The dancing Droid also went spastic. I shut the phone off and pulled the battery and restarted. Still the same. I uninstalled it. Don't need flash that bad. Maybe the official market one will work better on the Droid. Anyway, thanks for the link, even if it doesn't work for me.

I have it on my droid and it works well. But extended use streaming video kills my battery on a hurry. I use xscope.

Your screen can be and usually is your number 1 battery consumer, unless you WiFi tether. That's why I always wondered about those movie apps. Battery killers! lol

RJO55: Stock, non rooted Droid. Once downloaded, I simply went to sitess such as abcnews, fox 2 news detroit, and flashfactory.com that I know use flash content . I also watched full length episode of Design Star on HGTVs website. That's how I, as newbie, knew it worked. In some cases the lip sync is a tad off but only a second or so.. Odd how same phones react differently.

:welcome: to the forum!

Are you stock or rooted and running a custom ROM If you're stock, are you running FRG22D yet? If not, you'll want to download the OTA update file and manually install it. It might require a reboot after that, but it will appear.
