This is a pretty exciting day for Nexus 6 owners. While there have been plenty of unofficial and buggy builds of CM12 for several devices, today is the day that the first official nightly build of CM12 is available for the N6! This is super stable and can be used as a daily driver. Everything seems to be functioning just fine including Bluetoot, wifi, LTE, mms, sms, and phone. The camera not only works in the nightlies, it works much better than stock. There is no longer any shutter lag which seemed to be a problem in the stock build. CM apps such as AudioFX, Browser, Camera, File Manager, Messaging, and Music are included. There are a few customizations such as battery percentage mod, quick pull down which allows you to access your toggles with a swipe down from the right side of the screen. Wifi tether is enabled by default.
CM12 does not come rooted by default, but root can be enabled in developer settings. You also no longer need to install a third party root manager app like SuperSU. Root permissions are now managed inside Privacy Guard. There is also a kill all button inside the recents menu. To install CM12 you will need to be bootloader unlocked with custom Recovery installed. You will then need to flash both the CM12 nightly file and Gapps. Head to the link below for the download.
