Notification Light Question

When you receive a text or an email, does your notification light come on wether or not your screen has timed out? Thanks

When the screen is on notifications won't show.

Only when the screen is off will you get led alerts TP : )

Im on my second one. N this one is perfect the buttons at the bottom are solid and the screen seems even better that my first.
