Notification alert help

Hello all, I just picked up my new Droids X with 2.2 yesterday. I cannot seem to fiqure out how to change my notification tone. I want a personalized SMS text alert and the only options I get is what is listed. Any/all help would be greatly appreciated.

Found exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an Elk Call notification alert. Found just that on Zedge. Thank you tp76. I got the Droid Forum App as well.

set my ringtone for notifications, but it doesnt doit. just vibrates. also, how can i play video text messages?

Check out Missed Reminder from the Market place.

And, I have received a video text,.. so not sure

What's the notification volume at? You might want a profiles or sound mixer type app to check.
