Not that crazy with 4.04

I know I haven't had it but a day or so, but...... I think I want to go back to 2.3.6...... Hope it grows on me or I may try to figure a way back.

It is going to have to grow on you because going back to ginger bread is impossible.

Not Impossible, doesn't really make sense.. But not impossible

I think actually it would truly define impossible, since it is in fact not possible. Jumping back an OS is not possible like jumping forward one is, the base system of the ICS is completely different and trying to flash anything before that would end up with like MyEntityRemains so eloquently put it a new boat anchor.

Granted it would have to be for one of those little inflatable things, but a boat anchor non the less.

i believe he can simply get another phone.. thus not being impossible. you are free to boat again sline-dawg.
+1 for thinking outside the box guys..

That is completely untrue I downgraded back to GB after I installed ICS the first time.

It is fairly easy to do. I only had to flash a kernel and radio and then GB.

You can go back to GB from the .75 and .79 leaks but not the OTA or any other leak

It's completely possible to downgrade an OS, just not in this case. On my Droid X I went back and forth between GB and FroYo several times

I knew it was possible for leaked OS's because I did it with GB and Froyo on my Droid Pro. I thought official builds once installed you were stuck, I guess either way it is a moot point for the OP since they are indeed stuck with this one for now.

I guess it's probably a different story with every device, but you're right, the OP is most likely stuck on ICS for good.

Give it time you'll learn to love this new OS. Luckily Motorola didn't screw This one up like Samsung did with touch-wiz.

hmm that sounds like not only is it not impossible, but it is entirely possible..

To go back from the OTA? A method could probably be found if someone spent time trying to find it but I don't see that happening since most devs wouldn't want to spend their time doing something that very few people would want/need/use when they could spend the time working on forward moving stuff like ICS enhancements and Jelly Bean that a lot of people would use.

Dude.. just give it up. You were proven wrong. Where there is a will, there is a way. Clearly you have underestimated the android community.
