No Sega Genesis Emulators Work?

Hey guys i cannot get any Sega Genesis Emulators to work on my rooted droid x. I have tried many different emulators and many different roms. I am baffled. When i go to load a game the screen flicks a black screen for a second and then returns to rom menu. Can someone please shed some light on this. Thanks

Just google emuroms its an app get it downloaded to ur phone install it and after that just pick a system game u like and it will the direct u too system,at the top of the app it will show 3 diff systems for instance gensoid,gensoid lite,and tiger genesis all most recent updated versions. Hope this hepls sumwhat
