No love for the D2?

Whenever I see adds I see adds for the x or the incredible not the droid 2.....Is the incredible supposed to be better then the D2?

Depends on what you like. If you like a physical keyboard then no it is not better. If you want bigger screen then yes it is. They are about the same performance wise and it is just up to the user what he/she likes.
