No "Froyo Keyboard" for Droid 2?

Hi all. Could someone tell me why the Droid 2 does not have Froyo (Android 2.2) Keyboard? I'm reading all about it as one of the new features for Froyo but doesnt seem to be in the D2. Would really prefer to have a stock keyboard like this Froyo's Keyboard Has New Features | AndroidGuys
vs. purchasing a 3rd party app. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome! I'm not able to answer your question. I have a Droid and I use the HTC keyboard. Here is a link htc keyboard on droid - Google Search that may help you to determine if the HTC is for you.
