Okay so I have been trying to figure out what has been going on for about a day. My razr can receive texts and calls, but unless it is hooked up to wifi, I get no emails, no other notifications, no app store and no internet. I found some people saying it might be due to mobile data being turn off because of smart actions? I downloaded an app called quick settings, which allows you to turn mobile data on and off, and it say error when trying to turn mobile data on.

I don't know what else to do and I am about ready to take the phone back, even though I just got it on saturday.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Under Settings > Wireless & Networks

Is Mobile network checked?

Also go to Mobile Networks and enable "Enable always-on mobile data"

I don't have any of those settings :/ Under wireless and networks, there is a mobile networks sections, but it cannot be checked and the only options when you click it are network mode (either coma only orcdma/lte) and system select. Changing between 4g and 3g does nothing under these settings

Go to your settings menu, then select "Data Manager". Once in there, make sure "Data enable" and "Background dara" are checked. Your TPS could be turning it off for you, or prohibiting the device's data to be turned on. If that software is throwing errors at you, uninstall it. The razor's smart actions are more reliable and efficient, and work great for me.

Just a thought.
