I wish we had a night mode on the Android phones...similar to night mode on Google Navigation...switch from dark on light backgrounds to light on dark backgrounds.
If I'm using my phone in the evening/dark, things doing email in Gmail are so blindingly bright that it's annoying...in fact, on my phone I prefer white text on black backgrounds pretty much 24/7, regardless of ambient light.
If anyone here works for Google, please get them on it, at least for the OS and Google apps.
