Newbie with text forwarding question

Howdy everyone, can someone tell me how to forward a text message to multiple contacts? I sometimes forward texts to 10 or more people and it would be nice to be able to just pull up my contact list and select them as needed; this doesn't seem possible on the droid. This phone will do so much but yet not this?...My cheapo prepaid disposable phone was capable of pulling up my contact list to forward messages; PLEASE tell me I'm missing something! Is there an app for this maybe? Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing you are using the stock message app. Open the app, tap new message, begin typing the contact. This will display contacts that match what you have typed. Select the correct contact, enter a comma and begin typing the second contact and the list that matches what you typed will appear, tap the correct contact. Continue until you have entered the distribution group.
