Ok have always wanted to root my phone which is a Droid 2. Had a friend send me a few links and away I went. Piece of cake. I have superuser now listed and have checked via rootchecker to make sure it worked. Now here is the thing. I can not put another rom on the phone Have tried fifteen times if once. First I backed everything up with Titanium backup and then download Rom manager.
I have downloaded a several of the free roms on Rom manger,tried it that way,nothing. I have downloaded ziped roms,CM7,Liberty and a couple more,put them on the sd card and tried that way also. I have tried to get into the "boot screen" by hitting the x and power button at same time and then the search button when the caution mark in the triangle comes up to get to the "boot screen" and that does nothing. Life is to short. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to flash a rom,any rom for now. I watched countless youtube videos and read a lot. Im lost Thanks alot
