New user ?s -Wifi tether, custom bootskin, issues, etc.

I am currently "window shopping" for a new ROM. I have been using an old Bugless Beast 2.1 on my Droid for quite some time now because well... it's been sufficient. It's been a while and 2.2 is officially released so I am ready to pledge my allegiance to one of these. I am just hoping someone answers, this ROM looks the best out of the 7 I've been researching so far. So for the questions..

1 Wifi Tether working with Sapphire? Anyone find it not working?

2 Can I place a boot skin of my own choosing? (am I stupid and it is completely seperate from custom rom stuff in the first place? It's been a while! :c )

3 What kind of app drawer does this puppy have? I can't find any videos for Sapphire (at least any good ones).

4 Any extensive bugs or repeating issues by anyone?

That's pretty much it, I have several more ROM to look at now, I'm pretty sure I'll probably end up using this though, at least at this point. I hope I get some answers and This thread can answer others with the same questions. Thanks.

Recently rooted and started using this custom rom myself. From my about a week of experience, this is what I can tell you.

1.) It works great. I use it all the time on my phone.

2.) Yep! It is actually somewhat separate from the theme, you'd place a custom one in /data/local with the filename "bootanimation.zip"

3.) Stock Sapphire uses the standard Froyo app drawer, but it seems like most people use Launcher Pro (including myself.)

4.) Not that I've noticed so far. Everything I do on the phone seems to work fine.

Done all of the above, going great thanks!

Now just to install swype as my keyboard (I really want to try that out). I hope it looks as nice as the skin in this. Oh btw I'm using alternate dark and yes it is indeed nice.
