new to the droid x- few questions

when I go to make a phone call my [COLOR=#812528! important][COLOR=#812528! important]contact [COLOR=#812528! important]list[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] displays all my facebook contacts. I only want my phone book contacts to be displayed. i went into the contact settings and checked the box to display only [COLOR=#812528! important][COLOR=#812528! important]phone[/COLOR][/COLOR] contacts. however when I go to the phone dialer it brings up all contacts including my [COLOR=#812528! important][COLOR=#812528! important]facebook[/COLOR][/COLOR] contacts. what am i doing wrong?

also if i just got my droid X yesterday does it have the latest android software or do i need to update?

you can check the version of your software by going to menu - settings - about phone

for the facebook issue check in the sync settings and make sure facebook contacts is disabled.

i see that my droid is software 2.2. is this the latest?

also where are the sync settings located?
