New to Droid

Hi everyone, I was a BB user and since I didnt like any of the BB's that VZW currently has I decided to try the Droid and I love it! I just got it today so I'm still trying to figure things out. And now I have this "No Upcoming Calendar Events" box on my screen that I cant get rid of.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys and learning more about my phone.

That is a widget (one of many that you can put on your screens) for your phone. If you don't want it there, just long press on that widget and it will turn red. Then just drag it down to the trash bin below.
