It is good to be part of the Droid Forums community. I have had my Droid since late March. Before that I had a Windows 6 phone and prior to that an old Palm. Even tried my hand at developing a few apps for Palm. I have been a computer enthusiast for a long time (going back to a Commodore 64). I know just enough to get myself into big problems but not always how to get out of them. Thus my appreciation for forums like this.
I just rooted my Droid this past Saturday and installed Sapphire 0.8.4. It seems to be running very smoothly and the whole rooting and installation process went well. I hope that it continues. Thanks for all the insight I have already gained from the postings here!
