Hi all,

Just a little background for anyone interested: Before I began a linguistics career, I was a computer science major and open source programmer. I dabbled in android programming (wow, the emulator on my computer is slow), but my schedule is too intense now for me to continue programming. I typically run Linux (Ubuntu and fedora core), but I actually found android programming more convenient in windows. I had the original Droid for a little over a year, a Droid 3 for 14 days, and now the RAZR. I'll mostly be on the forums to learn as I have no experience rooting.
