New phone number?

I am about to move to another state and will probably need to switch to a new number. Will there be any issues with VZW since my phone is rooted and running CM7?

Most likely you'll have to *228 to activate the new number. Maybe load and set up a Sense Rom you can flash for that. Don't think an AOSP Rom lets you.
No, if you just reactivate, the root is unknown for activation purposes.

Rooted or not, there won't be any issues programming in a new phone number.
