Thanks for the welcome! What exactly is rooting? Kind of like jailbreaking it? I just want to get rid of some of the bloatware apps that Verizon put my phone.

yup kinda like jailbreaking but its linux so its a little different. check out link 2 in my sig to learn a little more about it..

just note thats for the Droid 1. the fascinate hacks section is where youll wanna go to see how to root ur phone
