New Guy on the Block

I'm new to this, just got a Motorola Droid right after Christmas. Just wondering what all the icons at the top mean. I see one that looks like the face of the Droid but don't know what it stands for.

Welcome to the forum, wtroy! Exactly what icons are you referring to? The tiny ones in the status indicators bar at the top of the screen where the time displays?
