New Exchange problem?

I've been having the standard Exchange problem (exchange settings suddenly wiped out) since I got the phone. Tonight I had a new problem: Lost my settings, but can't reenter my information. I go through the process of reentering all of my information, but then I get a message that the password is already in use with the account that I'm trying to set up. However, there is no corporate account showing as being set up in settings. Any advice on how to fix this?

I had this problem before I rooted and installed sholes mod... after that it has never happened again.
