:welcome: to the Forum. There are many threads already available on favorite apps, but one I think everyone should have is Screebl. It will keep your screen lit while working and help save some battery.

Don't worry about the temperature. You're playing with it a lot and just like any other phone it will get warm, specially if you're running 2.2. It runs faster then 2.1.

You can download an app called temp monitor if you're really concerned about the temperature, but quite honestly unless it's constantly around 120 I wouldn't worry about it.

As far as themes go for stock Droids, head on over to the themes section of the Forum and look around in there. You should be able to find instructions if not, post up on it over there and maybe someone can help. I don't use themes myself, I prefer live wall paper.

No you don't need to be rooted. Go to market and search for live wallpapers.

Born2golf. Please shutup I didn't ask for your input and with tapatalk on Droid signatures don't show up so how am I suppose to know if that's his name thank you all for the help my last question is how doing get the big digital clock I see on many droids
