need help looking for a rom

I have been looking for a rom that will be fast and not have to have the phone's data wiped... i have tried a few all ready. but not happy with result.

is there a way to back up the phone before the install of a rom.. and then after the rom install put all the info back in?

i hate manual labor.

Try Titanium Backup from the Market to back everything up. I'm assuming you're rooted?

I think some have had luck restoring just the data via recovery. Titanium is good but it seems to miss a bunch for me and it can restore settings that can screw up the new rom.
