need help getting droid OS

all right I am new to this...I've been wanting the droid from verizon but frankly it is way too much for a new phone and can't be spending $$ when I don't have it. My brother in law hacked the droid OS for his nook and it got me thinking I want that system on my phone. I was wondering if you all knew how to hack the o/s and put it on a samsung rogue. If you all can point me in the direction i should be headign, that would be GREATLY appreciated.

Is the rogue a feature phone? I'm not sure if this is possible. I would try taking a look over at xda. If there's anybody that can help you out its that lot over there

what do you mean xda? I honestly don't know if its a featured phone. I am new to hacking soo....umm yah
