Need help getting Android ROM for OEM Droid

Hello all,

My original Verizon Droid (first model made) has seen better days and I would like to replace it with another exact model with very little use and in 100% better shape. The problem is that the replacement has the MIUI ROM and I don't want this. I either want an updated Android ROM with the familiar UI or the OEM ROM, not this Apple looking interface with the small fonts I can't read.

Suggestions for getting a good Android ROM or the OEM ROM would be appreciated.

Took a while to figure this all out but ended up downloading and installing CM7.2. Then I had to figure out how to get all the the Gapps. Good to go now and liking the new setup so far.

I heard somewhere that the original Droid phone can be upgraded to Jelly Bean! Where is the OP and links to the ROM?

Look on xda, it's alpha though, the d1 is under legacy devices
