lock 2.0 does have a password protected screen but u can easily bypass it by holding down the home icon. I hate that that, because it completely defeats the purpose. I found that out after I paid for the app after the 24hr trial period.

but then again the reason someone would have a password on their phone is so someone doesn't use or it without their permission and I don't think some random person would figure out that holding down the home key would bypass that. so I think I'll stick with it
