MyMotoblur Apps not working for Verizon device?

I attempted to access the "My Motoblur" apps - Transfer Contacts, Locate Your Phone and Secure Your Phone - using my MotoCast ID for my new Razr Maxx, but the following error message appeared:
We notice you are a Verizon customer, and unfortunately your device does not currently support the features available through this site.
If you have any questions, please contact Verizon support for assistance.

Before I contact Verizon support (and become tempted to swear at them), has anyone encountered a way to bypass this problem? It appears that the 3 functions (transfer contacts, locate phone and remotely secure the phone) are very useful apps. I would much prefer to have these apps available through Motorola than Verizon. No doubt Verizon would try to soak you for extra fees for these services, if not now than at some point in the future.
