Music Player Questions

Please excuse my ignorance but where is the "stop" button on the player? I see the rewind, forward and pause but not stop?
I there a better music player app that someone can recommend? maybe with an equalizer?

There is no "stop", it's assumed that if you want to stop, you pause and rewind. Sometimes I wish there was a stop, but it really doesnt bother me.

Not sure about the second one.
