Multiple Ringtones

So on my old phone a LG I could choose like 10-15 differnt custom ringtones and when I got a call one would randomly go off. Is there a way to do this on the droid? I have played around but can not find what I am looking for. I know you can put ringtones to specific contacts but that is not what I am looking for. Thank you very much for the help. This website is amazing I just found it today and have already figured out many little tricks.

Don't think there is any way for the Droid to do this out of the box. There may be an app that will use a random ringtone, but I have not heard of one.

I think they want to assign a different ring tone to different people on their contact list. Like if your wife is calling the phone rings with a different tone than if the bill collector is calling. Ring suffeller does not do this. You cold assing a ring tone to each contact on the LG Choc.

YES you can do this. I had a LG and know what you are wanting to do.

1. Download an App with ring tones such as Zedge
2. Select the ring tones you want and save them
3 Go to Contacts and select the contact
4 Hit the menu button the Options
5 Select Ringtones
6 Select Zedge
7 Select from the list of saved ring tones and say Ok

Next time you get a call from that person it will ring with the tone you selected.

No offense, but the op specifically stated that hey know how to set ringtones for I dividual contacts and said that they want to have an assortment of ringtones that will be different every time the phone rings. Did you read post...?
