multimedia docking mode

I plug my motorola droid into the charging cord and it thinks that it is in the multimedia docking station. It is not and and it is not near a magnet. When the cord is removed it will not come out of landscape mode or multimedia mode without powering down and powering back up. Any thoughts.

Not sure on that one. Try powering off and taking the battery out for a min then power it back on.
