Multi picture App

hey Guys,

I downloaded Multi picture live wallpaper app thinking it would be awesome to finally be able to add diff wall papers on multiple screens.

However I cannot get this to work or I may be doing something wrong

has anyone else tried this app on the droid x??

Are you sure the app doesn't just switch between different wallpapers?

There isn't any way I know of (other than some photo shop work to combine pictures) to get a different image on each screen.

The backgroud image only shifts 20% (on 5 screens) and about 14% with 7 screens.

the app states that you can have different pictures on each screen and the comments people have left seem to state that it in fact does work...maybe its only for rooted users?

its not a huge deal but would be a nice bit of customization

check out the app in the market if you get a chance, maybe im reading it wrong??

Martin, there is one of these in the Market, it is called MultiPicture Live Wall Paper, it worked remarkably well, I didn't believe it so I had to test it out, although I immediatly uninstalled it after confirming it really works.

There is an app that costs $1.00 in the market place called wallpaper maker: [dodol] Custom Wallpaper Maker - Android app on AppBrain

It allows you to crop photos vertically as well as horizontally. Another cool feature is that you can stitch together the vertical crops so that you can have a different photo on each screen. I forget how many pictures you can stitch together (maybe 4 or 5). I use this app because I have wallpaper scrolling disabled on LauncherPro and it's nice to have everything cropped vertically without it being distorted.

jloya, what exactly are you having problems with ?

I having problems with finding out were I can set each wall paper for each screen? I searched through the settings and preferences but have had no luck.

Very cool application for those of us who want a different picture on every page. The app does things like running different albums on different pages, but I haven't tried that yet.

I had the same problem the person did finding the application once i installed it. It shows up in your "Live Wallpapers". From there, you scroll through the inventory of live wallpapers until you get to the "Multi Picture Live Wallpaper". From there, use the menu options to customize it how youw ant it.
