Moving music from desktop to my phone

I have a custom built desktop with top of the line components. I have a 2.0 flash drive with about 150+ songs on it, and I'd like to put them on my phone, but just cant seem to get it to work. Can anyone help me ?? And please, keep in mind that I'm not much on phone tech so dumb it down a little please !DancingNexus

I have a link in my signature with lots of suggestions on various ways to transfer files back and forth. At least one of those suggestion would work just right.
