moving apps around?

How do i move an app from one screen to the one before it?

(i tried the "long" hold but it took me to my home screen and gave me the option of deleting it)

Long hold It and drag it without letting go to the left or right and within a couple seconds it'll switch screens

hm, you're right that lets me place it on any of the home screens, but it doesn't let me move it among other apps outside of the homescreen... if that makes sense?

Sorry you are having difficulty with moving apps. Typically, you are able to move apps from one space to another, on the same screen by doing a long press then keep you finger on the app and move it to the "free" space.
If you want to add an app to screen two move to screen two, tap your app drawer find the app and long press.
