Meh, my DX has the boot screen, boot sound working and live wallpapers. As far as I care, thats all the interesting stuff. I don't want my phone looking like r2d2.

I've been curious about getting the live wallpapers, boot screen and lock screen on a D1.

How involved is it to do that?

I know what some stuff will be in an app for 2.99 - but I haven't heard that the boot screen or lock is included...

See, this is another time when I wish theyd just let people sign new two year contracts or just let people buy it for the contract price if they already have one. Im not eligible an upgrade for another year and a half. If I wasnt Id have a Blackberry, Fascinate and this Droid the day it came out. As it is Im probably going to end up paying above the even $500 Verizon would want to get it off of EBay in a year or two. This is crazy.

I want to Verizon online and the specs are essentially the same as the orginal droid. The only difference is that it has a paint job, star war themed apps, and a carbonate box for collectors. For those that don't have the droid 2 and is a star wars fan go forvit. But if you already own a droid 2 and are wanting this phone, customize a skin for the back and download the special edition star wars theme from the market and save your money IMO.
