Oh no! I hope this one fits my windshield and charging mounts. One of the reasons I rooted the D1 and nixed grabbing the DX was to avoid the cost of new accessories! lol -p

Seems they swapped the "D" pad for the 4 directional arrows.

I saw a pic of this not long ago and thought the same thing. I've got my eye on Droid 2 as my possible next phone (not for a while though). I know I will be accidentally hitting the wrong one at first. I can get used to it but I don't understand why they would swap them. I can't wait fir this phone. I need a physical keyboard because I have some eye damage, so this phone will more than likely be my next journey. I just hope root is obtained!

Yeah, the button layout is the same as my wife's Droid X. Trying to help her do stuff is maddening because I'm so used to the layout on the D1.

The Droid 1 is the freak phone, the Droid X/2, G1, etc have the back and home buttons in different places than the Droid 1.
