Moto Droid 2.2

Hi, I was just wondering if the official 2.2 Android was coming out for Motorola Droid. I'm sure the question has been asked a lot but I couldn't find a definite answer. I know it's coming out for the Evo later this week. Any information I can get would be helpful because I don't want to root my phone.

I already know how to update. That doesn't supply any information for when it is available. I know that it will alert me as seen on that page.

The role out won't go to everyone the same day either. When you get that notification is when you'll get it. I've heard "next week", "soon" and specific dates often enough that I'll know for sure only when it actually really is rolling out.
