I keep hearing this whats this patch for the mobile hotspot? What does it do im on liberty and I dont have the hotspot app.

U have to download the app from the market. I think that's what you are asking. I don't know what a "patch" is. I just know that I had to download the mobile hotspot from the market.....

My bad. When you said you didn't have the mobile hotspot "APP" it made me think you were talking about the actual app. Misunderstood what you were saying. FWIW the mobile hotspot app is in the market.....but not sure about a "hack" for the actual app....
