Missed Call - Something Missing

Folks-

Recent convert to Droid, and overall happy with the phone, but not with the notifications available for e-mail, missed calls, etc. Does anyone know of anything other than the app Missed Call. I was not impressed with that program, although many are.

It would be so nice to turn on the screen and see something that says, you missed two calls, have 4 unread e-mails on this accout, 7 on that account, and 4 text messages. The information is all there, it is just silly to navigate to home, then press notifications. I would like for it to be right in your face. Missed call does not do this, and has not impressed me so far.

Any suggestions.

That's what the notification bar is up top... Just slide it down with your thumb to bring them up.

Re: Executive Assistant. I downloaded it for $5. I had some issues with it, and the developer was very helpful. My problems were my fault, I selected an incorrect option. This is a very cool app, and for me worth the $5. Thanks for the tip on this one.
