milestone xt 2.1

i have a milestone xt and it uses 2.1

i have rooted it and download rom manager. i click the restart to recovery screen and it does. it loads into recovery and half way. it just stopped and restart again this time into home screen.

anyone can help with this? cant seem to figure it out!

or is there any other way to boot milestone xt into recovery?
