Messaging app slowing down

My messaging app randomly just slows down to almost unusable for no reason, does anyone know a fix for this or have the same problem

I have the same issue sometimes. It has been only at certain locations from what i can tell so far.

Try deleting your messaging cache. Menu>settings>applications>manage apps then scroll down to whatever app you use for texting (stock, gosms, handcent etc...). Tap the app then clear cache. Don't clear data unless you want to redo your options and lose all your messages.
