market quirk - any ideas

for a few days now when i go to the market and look at "downloads" one application [ak notepad] shows on the screen as "installing" - all of the rest of the download list looks normal - as far as i can tell, ak notepad is installed and working fine - i guess everything is ok, but i can't find away to get the "installing" message to disappear - i suppose i could uninstall ak notepad but then i would lose my saved notes - any help?

I use AK and I've not experienced this issue. Can you use clear in the notification bar or reboot?

I don't think its specific to an app. I've had this problem before and cleared the cache and data for the "Market" app.

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > "All", find market, clear cache and data
