Lossing connection with Facebook

I have a Motorola Bionic Android with verizon network but I am always loosing connection with Facebook. Even when I move between the different groups with Facebook, the connections is always lost or takes a long time to open. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Thank you.

I read somewhere that that is a problem with the app itself . Something to do with HTML5 ?

Ditch the facebook app and give FriendCaster a try. The official facebook app is just a mess.

I agree. Friendcaster blows away the FB app. The FB app is always slow, losing connection, or just sits there with a blue circle just spinning

It could also be the "net" Iam conected to. I have friends connected with AT&T and have no problem with FB. I also noticed that if I change from 4G to 3G the FB connection works a little better but still takes a while to open.

I havn't had any issues with FB on ICS .232 but I agree the App inself leaves alot to be desired.

This is an issue with me too.

Perfect 4g when not on facebook, checking facebook immediately drops 4g, 3g works fine, but not 4g.

Hmm my wife has this issue on her 905 bionic... I guess I never really noticed it on 905 but now on ics 232 I don't see the issue at all. She has described exactly this problem to me...

Pretty sure it's not the phone or network. I've had the same issue. Close it, open up something else and it connects. Go back to Facebook, won't connect.
It's hit and miss with the Facebook app.

Idk.. I'm on ics 233 (or 232? I need to check which one it is lol) and unrooted on bionic and I couldn't even get the app to open.. I mean the instant I'd press Facebook it'd automatically give me a message saying that it needs to force close.. So I tried uninstalling the updates but now I can't reinstall them....
I have no idea if that has anything to do with the recent problems everyone has been having but I thought maybe this'd be a good spot to post this

In a nutshell, the app is, and always has been FAR from perfect.

The problem I have is it takes forever to load pics sometimes. Sometimes won't load at all.

I just use my browser for Facebook. The app never has worked all that well for me.

The website is also a good alternative. But, I would strongly consider friendcaster. It is such a better experience.
