Looking for Droid X help with update

My last update was Android 2.2.1 and I am trying to get update. Tried 5 times, but each time get message "update failed". I have pulled the battery and tried to do it again. Oddly, my husband, who has the same model Droix X that I do, successfully updated his phone. Any ideas before I head to the Verizon store?--Thx!

Don't know what that means. I have phone from Verizon, have not done anything to it.

Then yes, you should take it to VZW and have it looked at.

Droid X upgrade follow up

I tried at least 8 times to upload the latest Android update, but my Droid X would not load it. After taking it to the Verizon store, they agreed: phone would not upload the latest update, and I am getting a replacement phone for it. Thanks to all who tried to help.
