So I'm currently using MIUI 12.11, and its a really good rom and I love all the features. But with random reboots and lock screen lag here an there its become more frustrating then its worth. Well I would like to try another rom but one that's comparable in features. I'm thinking cyanogen mod. The gestures feature looks cool, if it works right. Also ultimate droid seems to be packed with features, and seems like it has the option for a similar style lock screen as MIUI, not sure if that's true or not. Anyone have any suggestions? I'll probably just try both of them but I'd rather have some opinions on the feature part of it.

If he was on MIUI I think he has an OG droid not an X. If so try Project Elite, new version just came out. There's also Cyanogen, Ultimate Droid, and Liquid Frozen Yogurt which are all good

I've been running ud2.4 for a while now. It has a lot of customizing features. I was on liquid before, I'm waiting for 2.0. Give ud a try.

For feature rich and stability, head over to the Ultimate Droid section. You want to load up 2.5. It's the newest. Your reboot issues can be due to restoring data on some apps when you first flashed it. If you really want to stay on MIUI, then I would re-flash w/o restoring data backup on your apps. it's a little tedious, but you will be happy.

thanks for the suggestions...I didn't restore any data, just the apps themselves.

Is it true about the lock screen on UD similar to MIUI with the call and sms option on it?

Not, but there is an option to have a second set of sliders on the lock screen. The message one can be assigned to a 3rd party mms app, the other will slide into the phone app.

CyanogenMod 6.1.2 is great as well. Ud 2.5 seems to be doing better on power management with Chevy'1 1000k ULV kernel. Without SetCpu

cm6 all the way.

I have a question about the gestures feature. So I can set certain "drawings" to do open and run certain apps. So I could draw a circle and set that to open my sms, and from my lock screen the phone would unlock an take me to my sms? Am I understanding this right?
