Lock Screen Woes

First off, I'm using zen miui 2 on my :motdroidhoriz:, so there's a chance this all might be different

anyway, I'm using this galaxy theme over it, it's fantastic but the puzzle piece lockscreen icons are pretty ugly on my current wallpapers, and certainly don't mesh aestetically with my version of Android Phone 7

Problem is, I've gotten my rom and all settings to stabilize and I'm not looking to flash anything new or take any big risks for a while.

I dabble in a little graphic design, so I'd be comfortable replacing the image files with some of my own, I just have no idea where the right directory is.

Any themers happen to know? What's a good root-accessible file manager to do this?

Was using the Zen miui too .. flashed over to D1 minuit .. found it to be a lot more stable and a little more polished then the version I Was using
