first tryout of the free lgCamera app but so far it is MUCH better ... MUCH better ... let me say that again, MUCH better than the camcorder app that ships with the Droid 2. You can set frame rate, set higher video rate (bigger files but better quality), USE AN EXTERNAL MIC!!!!!!!!! (my biggest complaint with the old camcorder app), and more. In this example, I uprez to HD (not good but it works!).

looking forward to other tests.

Exceptional video, Ralph.

Hard to believe the quality this "cell phone" is capable of. You are lucky to enjoy such difficult traffic conditions.....what, 6 oncoming cars in maybe 6 miles of road.

In your area, one of my most favorite drives is the length of Big Laurel Road, from Belva/Guntertown, east to I-26/US 23, ending near the Wolf Laurel Ski Lodge, a seriously scenic and picturesque 17 mile creekside and mountain road, that on a good day takes 45 minutes to make. A video of that snakey road makes one's stomach queasy.

Keep up the good work, Ralph.

Thanks, Pyzon!

Yep, I get over in Madison County a lot, also and have driven Big Laurel several times. Recently drove all the way through Wolf Laurel and came out on Roaring Fork in Yancy County.
