LG Pay on LG Velvet

My wife and I have the new T-Mobile LG Velvet. I am unable to find and install the LG Pay app on the LG Velvet from Google PlayStore even though on LG Pay's supported devices site it says the LG Velvet is supported. Anyone know why I can't find it to install?

I am no where close to an expert at LG phones, but their LG Pay FAQ displays this as far as compatible devices:

LG Pay is supported on the LG G8 ThinQ device, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G device, and the LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen device. Other existing LG Pay devices will be supported as well very soon.

Thx for the reply, but this site says it is supported on the LG Velvet:

The asterisk next to that phone says "Select Carrier Devices". Is T Mobile blocking it for some reason on their models?

Good question I didn't see that. I guess I can call T-Mobile, but not sure they would know.
