Besides the obvious new flexible display technology in the new LG G Flex, the device also has some other cutting edge capabilities. We aren't exactly sure what material is being used for this feature, but as you can see from the video demo, minor scratches do indeed "repair" themselves. The company does point out that deeper scratches or gouges would not be able to recover, but that doesn't stop this from being rather impressive. The technology should definitely be able to keep up with the random day-to-day wear and tear that your typical smartphone is subjected to.
