LG Ally Purchase Poll

Not me. I have a Moto Droid. I would have for the better keyboard. but after learning about the detailed specs of each phone, I dont want something that similar. I dont want the Inc., but I would probably pick the Inc. over the Ally, and I want a physical keyboard....lol

Now, if I didnt have the Droid? Tougher question. I'm not even sure I woulda got the Droid if the Ally was out, the keyboard looks better. Since I know the touch screens are so good on the Droid and Inc., I might have got an Eris.

Capacitive FTW.

**All this would have been before doing research on the specs of the phones and before I learned about rooting***

And lets not forget reception. My phone has to be a good phone first and foremost.

If the Ally had better reception? Even tougher question.

LOL! I wasnt expecting that big pic. lol Please tell us how it is when you get it. And at $49 NE2?!?!

I see I forgot to put price into my equation..(I know the Droid can be had for $20 now but still, I brand new smartphone that cheap?)

But with ppl that want a physical keyboard, I wonder how many Droids are gonna sell now? That keyboard definitely looks nice on the Ally. I dont think most folks in the general public will research the detailed specs. I can see the Ally getting decent sale numbers.

:) His name is Hewson -- I found him in Google images. I'll gladly post a review soon after. I'm hoping for improved battery and phone quality without losing much processor performance. The Moto and HTC Droids are $149 with my NE2+online discount.

In California, there is a Buy One Get One Free going on for the Moto Droid. I don't know if that applies with your NE2?? But if so, that makes for a better price......

Phone price is pretty insignificant considering data plan. I tried the Moto Droid and had unresolvable issues with phone quality and short battery life so I returned it.

Looks like a BB storm with a slider, not a bad thing, just very similar looking to it. I 'm interested in performance on this as well, looking forward to your review!
